Sewer Monitor Programme 2025

In August 2025, Lynwood Civil Engineering took on a new programme of work to support Wessex Water in their mission to reduce flooding and pollution incidents across their wastewater network💧

The project involves the installation of Sewer Monitors on key assets and at key locations across the Wessex Water region 🕳️

These monitors provide sewer level readings that help their teams proactively identify network issues, such as blockages. The data collected also enables them to make more informed decisions when instructing & prioritising their resources to resolve network issues📊

This current phase will see the installation of 4,000 monitors by March 2026 and our teams are working hard on a weekly basis to support Wessex Water in achieving this target 🎯
